Responsible manufacturing

Restore the nobility of wood, return to this simple original material.

By combining purity of lines and old school gliding sensations.

I seek to exclude chemical processes as much as possible, and to considerably reduce the environmental impact of the manufacture of surfboards. The boards are made in Hollow (hollowed out) then simply varnished or oiled.

I will always strive to find the wood closest to my home, as well as the healthiest glue possible.

Paulownia is not just another exotic wood. It is difficult to list all its areas of application without forgetting some. Wood, leaves, flowers, erosion control, rapid growth...

In fact, its growth of 1 cubic meter on approximately   7-8 years, ranks paulownia among the fastest growing tree species on the planet.

With a density of 0.28, it is among the lightest woods on the planet! Pieces made of it do not deform when exposed to humidity, because it barely absorbs water; unlike pieces usually made of other woods.

Paulownia

I use wood from managed Spanish or Italian plantations.

For me, paulownia is one of the woods of the future, because it quickly captures CO2 and transforms it into a high-quality material.

Maintenance and repair

Wood is a living material and must be treated as such.

For the durability of the boards, it is necessary to take them out of their covers, rinse them with clean water and open the decompression screw between 2 sessions.

Maintenance is within everyone's reach. Every 3 to 6 months, apply a little oil or varnish only to the areas where there is wear (leach rubbing, scratches, etc.)

For big injuries, don't panic! You can always do a wood graft or fill with wood paste and if you are too far away I can send you a piece of wood. You can then do the repair yourself, for the most handy-jack-of-all-trades. You can also entrust your beloved board and its piece of wood to a cabinetmaker-carpenter who will do it very well for you!
